Rickenbacker bridge

Stra-Tite Groover vintage open gears tuners
About 4 1/2 pounds on a bathroom scale - very light
Nitrocellulose lacquer.I took the Rick 325 template, then I add .750" around
(except at the neck joint curve line)
Compare to the 3/4 scale, it's much easier to play with "normal" hand
but it is still smaller than a regular 24 or 25 " scale giving less tension on the strings.
This feature make it a "dream" to play with flatwound strings.

My latest project (2006) ; a "NORMANCASTER"
I's actualy a vintage Canadian Norman body B-20 Serial # 5342
(the old one handmade by Mr. BOUCHER)
using thin aircraft quality birch plywood,
but fit with a custom made (FENDER Tetecaster style) neck.
I used soft curly maple, jumbo triangular frets, a Fender LSR roller nut,
and a genuine Fender NoCaster front pickup, set-up with flatwound strings,
this guitar is one of kind rare bird, cool looking, cool feeling and cool sounding guitar.
I'm very proud of the exceptional results, a dream guitar come thru.Listen to this guitar:
